Minutes of an Extraordinary General Meeting Monday 9th May 2022
Present:
Parish Councillors: D Semley (Chair), J Stanser (Vice Chair), S Blades, M Parr, N Smith
1. Resolve to accept resignation of Clerk
It was resolved to accept the resignation of the Clerk
2. Resolve to recruit new Clerk
It was resolved to recruit a new Clerk.
Advert to be placed with LALC & on Social media pages
Existing job Advert and job description to be used
3. To resolve to appoint RFO
It was resolved that Cllr Stanser would act as RFO until new Clerk is in place
Cllr Semley is awaiting changeover of primary user for bank account then Cllr Stanser will be added
4. To agree distribution of Clerk’s tasks
It was resolved that Cllr Smith would minute meetings moving forward until engagement of new Clerk
Other tasks were appended to next meeting
5. To agree Format for Parish Assembly on 20th May and invitations to outside agencies
It was resolved to invite the following outside agencies to give or send reports for inclusion at the Parish Assembly:
County Councillor
District Councillor
St Lawrence Church
Corringham Primary School
Lincolnshire Police
Corringham village Hall
It was resolved to invite Parishioners to attend with the opportunity to meet and talk with councillors on an informal basis and raise issues and ask questions.
Refreshments are to be provided
The event to be advertised via leaflets, notices and Social Media.
It was resolved to reinstate the start times of Ordinary meetings of the Parish Council to 7.30pm to avoid confusion for Parishioners and members of the public.
