The minutes of the meeting held on 5 October 2021 were discussed and resolved as being a true record.
Amendment: Richard was nominated for vice chair

Co-option of new Parish Councillors
As there have been no applicants Diane asked that we all try and think of anyone who may like to apply and direct them to the notice to be posted on the notice board and local social media.

Neighbourhood plan
Diane reported that the referendum copy of the report was complete and the referendum will be on December 2nd. Flyers and posters were being printed and volunteers would be needed to deliver them.
The NHP steering group could now be disbanded as their work was completed.

Cemetery Maintenance and Tree Work
We need a plan of how we want the cemetery to look and set a standard to be kept. To prepare a tender document and send it to everyone who has shown an interest in n doing the work. Sarah to do a plan of all the areas of grass to be cut and measure gateways for access.

Maintenance Work in Pond Area
Jonathan suggested asking the contractor who cuts the school field to cut the grass in the pond area.
Diane suggested asking students at Riseholme Agricultural College if any of them would be interested in formulating a plan for the design and maintenance of the pond area

Treescape Scheme Proposals
We are awaiting a response from LCC’s Environmental and Community Projects Officer, regarding a Trees & Community Wildlife Grant

Regular Market Day on Around Corringham FB Page
It was agreed that there was enough scope for advertising on other local Facebook pages so this would not be needed

Precept for 2022/23
Diane, Jonathan and Richard to meet with Angela to discuss figures.

Quotes for New Parish Benches
There are 12 benches each needing different repairs. Get a quote per bench and do the worst ones first. Contractors suggested: Roper repairs, Ark Construction, Tom Wright, Rob Parr, Dec Yates, Amber Tree Care.
 
Highways Maintenance Issues to be Passed to County Councillor
Items deferred to next meeting

Quotes for New Notice Board for Aisby
Agreed to have Blue with a top sign to match the Corringham one. Richard had quotes for around £150. Agreed for him to contact Angela to get one.

Platinum Jubilee Celebrations Update
Jonathan said they were planning a street party on the Saturday, using the village hall in case of bad weather followed by evening events at the pub and for Sunday a barbeque and picnic on the field and a tractor run from Peacocks yard. Peacocks will sponsor the event and other village businesses will be approached for sponsorship or donations.

Appointment of new Burial Board Clerk
Diane and Jonathan agreed to temporarily share the Burial Clerks duties and to attend a training course in February 2022 at a cost of £185 per person

Financial Matters
3 payments were approved but deferred as Angela not present: Village Hall hire for the meeting, 2 grass
cuts and Angela’s salary.

New Planning Application
No objection

A letter of complaint was noted from a parishioner about the grass cutting.

Poppy Wreath: Jonathan will order it and Adele will go to the service to lay it and ask Peter Arthy to join her. Jonathan will post Parish council information on social media to try and engage with more of the village.
Adele said there were problems with the call connect service, Paul offered to look into it. Aisby grit bin Site: Richard to contact Clio.
Planning seminars: ask Angela to check she’s got them.

School parking: public are being abused: look into re-instating the bus to reduce traffic. Next meeting on Tuesday 7th December at 7.30pm in Corringham School
