Please consider yourself summoned to an Ordinary Meeting of Corringham Parish Council on Tuesday 1st February 2022 at 7.30 pm. The meeting will be held in the Corringham Village Hall, for the purpose of transacting the following business.

3.   DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST AND DISPENSATION REQUESTS – To receive declarations of interest in respect of matters in this agenda.

4.   PUBLIC QUESTION TIME – To receive questions and statements, verbal or written from members of the public.

5.   MINUTES - To consider and resolve to:

i.   Approve the Minutes of the Ordinary Meeting held Tuesday 4 January 2022 and address matters arising.

ii.   Approve the Minutes of the Extraordinary Meeting held Wednesday 26 January 2022 and address matters arising.

i.   CO-OPTION OF NEW PARISH COUNCILLORS – To receive expressions of interest for new Parish Councillors.

j.   REPRESENTATIVE REPORTS - To receive reports from the Clerk, other agencies and sub-committees. (For information only).

k.   BUSINESS MATTERS FOR CONSIDERATION -

a.   To resolve to dissolve the Neighbourhood Plan steering committee.

b.   To consider tender document(s) and award contract for grass cutting services. (Minutes 01-2022. 8a. refers)

c.   To consider the Parish Council Governance documents and policies to include:

i.   Email communications, Press and Social Media Policy

ii.   Document Retention and Disposal Policy

iii.   Parish Council Asset Register

d.   To consider a Parish Council donation towards the upkeep of the Corringham Church Clock

e.   To consider correspondence with Thonock & Somerby Estates: (Minutes 01-2022. 8h.ii refers)

i.   Rent increase for allotments.

ii.   Interest in, and options for, alternative location of allotments.

o.   DATE OF NEXT MEETING – To resolve the note the date of the next meeting as Tuesday 1st March 2022.

The meeting is open to the public, who may submit questions or statements in writing to the Clerk by noon on the day of the meeting. During the meeting, and at the Chairman’s discretion, the meeting will be opened to questions or statements from the public for a maximum of 10 minutes. Members of the public are asked to restrict their comments and/or questions to three minutes.
