Minutes of the meeting of the Parish Council held on 5/11/19 at 7.00 pm at Corringham Village Hall
Present:  Cllrs. Hardwick (Chair), Semley, Stanser, Sims, Wrench, Parr and Blades

Cllr. Semley agreed to take the minutes.

Precept meeting:
Good discussion was had re precept and decision deferred to next meeting when Clerk would be in attendance to give guidance and up to date budget forecasts.

Village Hall:
Two new committee members have joined the committee – Jemma and Jonathan Stanser.
Fashion show booked for 7th November
Three day booking in Octobers by portrait photographer
Peacock and Binning have booked for training session
Christmas Fair 23rd November with Santa
Senior citizens lunch 11th December
Polling station booking 12th December
Ongoing booking by dancers
Two bookings in the New Year

Neighbourhood Plan:
We have confirmation of grant application for technical assessment and AECOM have been in touch regarding the process and what information they need. They have advised that we have a meeting with Savills to discuss their submissions. This meeting to be a formal meeting attended by Cllr Hardwick, Cllr Semley, Clive Kebel and to be formally minuted by PC clerk.
AECOM have begun their desk based assessment and will be looking to visit the sites some time in December. 

SIDS
Existing SID has been returned for its upgrade. Further information required at next meeting.

Decision was made not to go ahead

It was agreed not to increase the rents this year

Invoice for next stage of pond clearance received - £300
Donation of £25 towards poppy wreath agreed

Clarification required of new housing vs HNP settlement figures

14) Councillors reposts
Defibrillator – Who is strained and what is the battery life and who is responsible. Clerk to investigate.
Willow tree in last house bottom of East lane obscuring 30mph sign – needs reporting
Hedge on Edmund Road – Cllr Hardwick to investigate if it has been cut or not.
Cllr Hardwick has had a meeting with the school on behalf of the PC and both parties have agreed to move forward with mutual agreement.
